Safer Sex Group Meetings teach participants the importance of using devices, such as male and female condoms, to protect themselves from sexually transmitted diseases and how to appropriately negotiate safe sex behaviors with their partners.
Buprenorphine Education is an intervention in detoxification and an opiate substitution medication. Participants learn about the treatment regimen and how to be referred for treatment.
Job Search Group members receive both informative and supportive information on the process of finding a job, including how to write a resume and cover letter and how best to present oneself during an interview.
Overdose Prevention Group participants learn CPR and how to administer Naloxone to prevent opiate overdose.
Health Education Workshops educate participants on various health-related topics and offer information about available services and eligibility requirements.
